The authors of this blog, Judy and Dagmar Jenner, are a pair of identical translating and interpreting twins working in Spanish, German, English, and French (Dagmar only). They were born in Austria, grew up in a trilingual household in Mexico City, and run their translation, interpreting and copywriting business, Twin Translations, from Vegas and Vienna (Austria).
In this blog, they dispense (useful) tips and tricks on how to run a translation business efficiently and effectively. They frequently share what they know with fellow linguists via their "The Entrepreneurial Linguist" workshop. The "Entrepreneurial Linguist" book was published in April and is available on www(dot)lulu(dot)com. Judy pens the monthly "Entrepreneurial Linguist" column for the ATA Chronicle. She holds an MBA in marketing. Dagmar has an graduate degree in French, a translation degree and is working on her graduate degree in French and Spanish interpreting at the University of Vienna. In addition, she is writing her dissertation in Romance languages. Judy is a master-level certified Spanish court interpreter in the state of Nevada.
